Acid or flux brushes as they are often called are handy small disposable brushes.  They work extremely well for cleaning flux from electronic assemblies or to brush away dust build-up.  They can also be used to spread glue, apply flux or grease or other chores around the workbench or house where you want something cheap that can be tossed when you are done with it.

These have fairly soft bristles that work great for dusting.  When using to clean flux off of electronic assemblies by scrubbing using alcohol or flux remover, it can be helpful to cut the bristles a little shorter using scissors which makes them stiffer for a better scrubbing action.

These brushes are good quality that hold up well and do not easily shed bristles like cheaper ones can.  We use these brushes for extended periods of time for cleaning electronic assemblies before finally tossing.
